Hiya Guys,

My name is Sharonda, I'm 21 years old and came to this site to meet new people of the Asian persuasion, make friends, and hopefully learn new things about the Japanese culture and language.

You can call me Ronda for short

My name's Lys. I'm from the US. I've been interested in a variety of Asian things for close to 15 years now. I got into Japanese anime and manga when I was younger. I've never been big into Japanese music though and a friend who I knew through my exploration of all things Japanese shared a video one day. Off to the side of youtube was a bright looking video that seemed interesting. So I clicked. And was promptly sucked off into the world of kpop. I've been delving into the world of Korean media (and attempting to make a variety of recipes) for the last few years and am now working on learning Korean.

From what I can glean thus far, I am a little bit older than many members of this site (37). Hope that's cool.
